A 6-piece Australian industrial project, Kinderschmerzen appear to be
one of those rare gems in the glass bauble box that is the genre--an
industrial band with a sense of humour. That's not to say they don't
take their music seriously, more that they don't take
themselves too seriously. For example, one track on this tape,
TV Junkie clocks in at 19 seconds, the remix TV Junkie
(long) at 35. Having so many members is something of a plus point
too, a much more organic feel is given to the tracks, the best of which
is the dub mix of the title track. Organic
Industrial then ladies and gentlemen, an oxymoron for which
you can thank me.
