Despite the rather grandiose-sounding description this tape is, for the most part, pretty straightforward indie-guitar fare and does little to excite. It's when they deviate from the norm that things become more interesting, as in Tractors are pretty when bizarre lyrical content (tractorphilia) is backed with a quirky little tune, Reminder where the the twisted vocal stands out and the storming pop kick of The race.
