A turbo-charged sober(ish) Shane McGowan, the frantic guitar bubblegum
of the Wonderstuff's "Unbearable", a Pistols steal ("Anarchy in the
UK") and an indie drummer who really has always had a dance
element to his sound. That's The Shanks, Irish schoolboy mates and
seekers of the perfect pop song---which they've very nearly
found. "Bubbling" is an absolute monster and proves its groove by
being spaced out and remixed for its beat potential on the
