Subtropic, Compression point (Fused and Bruised) 12"
Subtropic have been scrumping, but not for apples. They've
been into Mr. Paradinas' floppy disc orchard, plucking samples from
hither, thither and yon and delivering a set of tunes that run from
Mu-Ziq through Slazenger and into Gary Moschelles
personalities. That's twisted drum'n'bass, cheesy electro and sly
housey/funk but always staying just inside the boundaries of good
taste that Paradinas, in his eternal quest for the perfect beat,
occasionally oversteps. Highlight is a new version of the single
"Lifetime mission".
