Billion Dollar Mission release their first CD on the New York based label Immigrant Sun Records. Immigrant Sun is previously known for bands like Joshua, Saves the Day and Morning Again.
Billion Dollar Mission was formed in Oslo, Norway early 1998. Since then they have developed their own style in the crossings of melodic rock and their post-hardcore roots. This is a band with great songwriting abilities which shine through especially in their catchy refrains.
"The Cup" is the bands second release and contains four songs recorded during the summer of 1999. Since then Kristian Syvertsen has replaced Stig Waalberg on drums as Stig's original band, Sister Sonny, required more of his time.
At present Billion Dollar Mission is busy writing and recording their first full length album which will be out sometime during fall this year.
