Yep this is a page all about me!
Ok I realize not many of you actually want to know all this stuff about me but I wanted to put
it on anyway.
Ok let's start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start.(Ok is it sad quoting The
Sound Of Music?) I was born on June 7th 1976 in a small South Cumbrian Town called Barrow-In-Furness
where I grew up and stayed until I was 18 when I came away to Uni.
I have an older brother Ian(23) who has a 2:2 degree in Accounting and Finance and a younger sister
Christine(20) who is looking like getting a first in Maths at Newcastle. My mum Jean(won't say) is
a Directory Enquiries Operator for BT and my dad Michael(too old, well he'll never read this) is a
District Building Control Officer at Barrow Town Hall's Building Control Dept.
Barrow isn't as big as it used to be because the shipyard there had to lay off a lot of the workers
because of lack of work although Barrow did get contracts to build a couple of Trident Submarines for the
government which gave the town a bit of a lift. As I said it is only a small town with a population
of around 50,000 now, it used to be closer to 65,000, I mean it doesn't even have a KFC yet, although I am reliably informed that it will be 1999, and we only
got a McDonalds a few years back.
Anyway back to me, I went to South Newbarns Infant School before going to St. Paul's C of E Junior
School and then on to Parkview Secondary School. I then took my GCSE's getting 2 B's, 2 C's, 6 D's and an E. This was a bit of a suprise as I usually got good marks!
Then 6th Form for my A Levels where I got one A level in English Lit. while re-taking a GCSE in Physics for which I got a C.
I had two good years there where I joined a band with my best mates Stuart Marshall and Neil Mathers. This carried on into my first year at Uni.
but after that it got too hard to practice so we stopped.
Well The University of Teesside let me do a Foundation Year to bring me up
to degree standard which I passed. I had a good year here too living with some cool guys Jay, Dave, Phil, Chris and not forgetting my French room mate Manu(Emmanuelle Boucherau).
Well I got on to the degree which is when I started playing American Football.(See Sports pages)
After the first year I was transferred to a HND in Computing by mutual agreement as I wanted to get some qualification from my years at Universtity, so I stuck at it! This is when I met my Fianceé Ellen Walsh who is the best thing that has happened to me.
She got me focused on my work I passed my exams and did quite well. So I've finished
my HND and I have now passed my final exams.
I got a temporary position as a Senior Information Assistant in the University Of Teesside's Learning Resources Center for 2 months which was extended to 4 months and then again for another 2 weeks. Following this I am still looking for work and you can still give me a job. Look here for my C.V. and then email me at the address on it).
Well that's my life in a nutshell....wake up....WAKE UP!!!! It's ok it's over now.....
