I saw Andy Summers with John Etheridge on Thursday night at the Belly Up in Solana Beach (San Diego). The show was wonderful. It featured many songs from Invisible Threads with covers by jazz greats. Andy played many of the leads, which were impressive. I was able to watch the one long soundcheck. After the soundcheck, I was able to talk to both John and Andy. They are on a small tour of America. San Diego was the first stop. They will be performing in eleven other cities, including two shows tonight at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica. I hope everyone is able to catch this show. It is incredible.
