Hi friends,

just back from a record fair, I want to share some bootleg infos.

Cheers,
Martin

Title: Sting - My Senses [Star 024]
Label: Star Soundboard Recordings
Source: live in north London on June 8th, 1996 at the Fleadh in Finsbury Park
Cover: Picture of the rising sun, in the middle a small picture from Sting in his Versace zebra shirt
CD: Picture of the rising sun, same as in the cover
Quality: Excellent, except the vh-1 stuff. It's a little bit noisy and seems to be mono.
Unfortunately it's not the whole Fleadh show, specially because they left out "Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot" with the London Ghospel Chorus. Looks like this boot was taken from the BBC1 broadcasting. The vh-1 is exceptional because Sting is talking a lot about his songs, songwriting etc. It's more an analysis of the songs.
Tracks: Total 79:37

- I Hung My Head 4:50
- Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic 4:42

Has anyone ever heard of a song called "Stop The World"? I found this as a 12" test pressing. The song is really good. It has recent Sting lyric phrasing, but it is definately The Police playing.

Anyone know what Stewart was doing in Holland - recording, promotional work ???

Erwin Kempen: Stewart was in Holland to do some promotional work. First of course the premiere of "The Leopard Son" last Wednesday here in Amsterdam. Another rumour is that Stewart is planning some gigs with a large orchestra in Europe, THIS IS JUST A RUMOUR !!!

Have heard nothing else about the book unfortunately. Stewart probably has many other projects on the go, but who knows, perhaps it is being kept back till '97 and the anniversary ?

Erwin, have you heard anything about a planned book ?

Erwin Kempen: No nothing at all, Tina once told me 2 years ago about the video "Outlandos to synchronicity", she told me aswell that there were plans at the same time for a book. Probably Miles decided not to publish anything (over exposure ?). I think that we still can expect something, over the years A&M uses its archives over and over.

It took some time but yesterday I recieved the laserdisc, here is some freaky info about the disc.

Well it was a short one this week, not much happening I think. I could use some stories of your own collection if you want to write something.
