Well another enjoyable Sting concert.....I was orginally seated in the F Section on the left side of the arena, however after Melissa Etheridge's set was over the kind usher of my section noticed a few empty seats in the second row and sugessted that I move up there. Well it took me two seconds to decide to take him up on that offer....so I ended up in the second row near Dominic. Same show pretty much, except Sting was very, very talkative......he was joking around and took flowers from a few women in the front row, and upon finding out there was one flower for each of them, said, mocking dispointment, "Aw there for the band!" in a really wining voice. Trudie was there in the press box up to the right hand side of the stage, at one point Sting blew her a kiss, which I though was very sweet. Anyway, he looked very happy the show was great...same set list...Sting wearing something other than that black shirt with the yellow band around the bottom....Dominic still wearing the same stuff he wore on the european leg (will someone buy this man a new shirt!!!!!!). Oh I did say hi to Miles and Kim and they said that the tour was going great and that they were happy that it was winding down soon. As far as I know Letterman and the Grammies are all that he is doing in NYC although someone in the front was saying that he might do unplugged again.....don't know. I tried to see him after the show, but he and Trudie had already left to go back to NYC that night.
Oh an interesting side note.....As I was out by the buses parked by the Spectrum that the bands were using..who came out but Melissa Etheridge and none other than Martina Navratilova?????? What is the story there????? I didn't recognize who it was at first, but then the one roadie told us that was who it was......Interesting. A satisfied Sting fan!!!!!!
