I just wanted to give you all my review of Sting's concert at Valby-hallen, Denmark, on March 22nd. I regret to say, that it was a bit of a dissapointment - compared to his concert on the TST-tour, this was quite bad. It seemed as if they were all holding back on their tremendous abilities, and the overall impression of the concert, therefore, is A WASTE OF GREAT TALENT!
Being a musician myself (and a HUGE Sting fan!), it sadened me to see such brilliant musicians play so little... Now, don't get me wrong, the concert was good, but I just couldn't help thinking that it could have been so much better! If I hadn't been to the TST- concert, I would probabfy have liked this one a lot more.
I would like to go to a concert at the end of this tour, to see how they are doing when they have become more familiar with the songs and have perhaps come up with some changes, links and stuff like that as they use to...
That's all. This may seem very negative, but make no mistake - in my mind, Sting is still the greatest musician on Earth! (Despite his rather scary attraction to country music...)
