Quick comments:

This set-list shows one positional change from Paradiso (Senses moving ahead of LYSBYP), and the addition of one extra track, Mad About You (not my pick for a track from The Soul Cages). Based on this, I doubt whether the set-list posted for Moscow is correct -- can anyone confirm?

The four female backing vocalists have gone, so Sting is using taped backing vocals during If You Love Somebody and LYSBYP -- I'm glad I managed to catch them being sung live two weeks ago.

The rapping part in The Bed's Too Big is now being sung by Kenny Kirkland, and this song worked better than at Paradiso.

The version of Roxanne was stunning, as was Kenny Kirkland's solo during When The World ....

Dominic Miller continues to be the weak link in the group -- his soloing shows no change from `91, so he was already short of ideas in`93, now, you get the feeling you've heard it all before (several times over!).

Vinnie Colaiuta and Kenny Kirkland continue to be under-utilised in this current set-up. The `91 band had far more freedom to expand and improvise. I guess we have to blame Sting for that.

Sting's communication with the audience is kept to an absolute minimum -- no problem for me, I only go for the music anyway.

The names of the horn players don't seem to match the two names given in the programme -- I'll try to make a note of them tonight.

19 years ago today, Sting played (with The Police) at the Paradiso in Amsterdam (as support to Wayne County And The Electric Chairs), so what better way to mark the occasion than by attending the second Ahoy show tonight. Will bring you the set-list, and any further observations tomorrow.
