Well last night I saw the Sting Concert in Wels. To say it shortly it was "superb"!!!
Step by step.
The concert should have been held outside (open air), but as there where not so many people who were interested in Sting, the Tour-Manager desided to held it indoor. I think there have been about 5.000 people and I was very surprised that they were all absolut Sting fans and they knew also the new material perfectly (usually at concerts the new material is not accepted/known as they old one).
There was an popular austrian group who went up on stage one hour earlier and they made their job very good. (S.T.S. is one of the best groups in Austria).
At about 20.30 Sting came on stage with his band.
They did the following songs:
So the set list was very similar to the set list of Dortmund as I saw, the only song he had canceled on the list was I'm so happy...
His voice surprised me, because I saw several Sting concert during the last years, but his voice has never been as good as at the moment.
I can only say, if anybody of you has the chance to see Sting live in concert, please go there you won't forget the evening!!!!
