The location of the Bad Mergentheim gig was at the inner yard of an 12th century castle. I’ve seen worse places in my life!! The acts were exactly the same as in Aachen, but for a change they only started an hour sooner.
Apart from the implementation of "Consider Me Gone"..."Mad About You" had an unique opening. By plugging in a new guitar Dominic blew up his monitor, so he couldn’t play. Since the band already started and played the first chords over and over again, Sting decided to open to song a capella, which was a brilliant anticipation! Dominic joined again 30 seconds later, when his box was fixed.
Despite of many problems with the security we managed to get some photo’s out of Bad M. and also some Aachen picture can be seen soon on Dave & Wendy's web site: Stingchronicity.
