I attended the Kansas City show last evening and IT WAS GREAT. Although some of you seem to view all Sting does through the static lenses of the past, a performer, like his music is a dynamic quantity and deserves to be viewed as such.
I would like to give special recognition to Butch & Clark ("the horn section") they did a great job.
A satisfied fan in Kansas City,
I just saw STING in Kansas City this past weekend at the Sandstone Ampitheatre, and it was a great show. He did'nt do any pyrotechnic-bassplaying, but then he did'nt need to, he just kept the groove going for the music. He was performing with Vinnie Coulitoa (sp?), Dominic Miller, a sax player and a trombonist, and Kenny Kirkland. And man, can that Kenny play his butt off!!!
