The Setlist was the same. I agree that Sting should change his Setlist by adding some new songs. However, the crowd was very good and eventhough the weather was cool and cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle. The amphitheater was almost to the capacity, maybe a 1000-2000 short of a sell-out. I anticipated a crowd of almost 16,000-17,000. The crowd was up for the majority of the show.
One exception to this show was that a lady had a sign saying " I want to sing Back-up on Brand New Day". Sting acknowledged, and called the lady during the song Brand New Day. This stirred the crowd, and she actually was a singer. Sting said that" he doesn't know her, this is the first meeting, believe me". I actually was able to go to the front by the end of the show. I took some pictures of Sting upfront with my little digital camera. I was able to call chris Botti's and Dominics name and they both appreciated my gesture and appreciation.
