Backgrounds
 Ace of Space
Sharon has a separate set of pages for Border designs as well as
her lovely backgrounds. She has a cute place for kids called
Ace of Space Kids Place, and she also is the sponsor
of the "AcePlace Award." :)
Pam Bytes
Pam has a really nice collection of backgrounds both in textures
of wild and mild designs. She also does border designs. She
has a small holiday graphics collection, and has buttons and
bullets in various colors as well.
Infinite Fish
Scott specializes in Seamless Backgrounds. He has quite a large
collection of bold designs to choose from. He is also the sponsor
of the "Knob Awards."
The Lady's Background Creations
The Lady has some lovely designs in her collection. The background
I'm using here was created by her. She also sponsors several awards
on her home page at The Lady of Passion and Mystery.
Virtual Val's
Val is the Mistress of Sass. Her pages are filled with great design
and humor. I have her site listed as one of my "Fun Sites" just
because of this. Her backgrounds, like her are unique as she has
them all named after body parts. She's also the sponsor of the
"Sass Award."
Scooter's Place For Graphics
Scooter has a nice collection of backgrounds that she designed. She
has a selection of Holiday Borders with graphics to match.
She's also the sponsor of four separate awards.

Well, I have to plug my own designs. ;) I have both backgrounds and

Design Originals
I just found this page and I had to add it here. She does sets of
bordered backgrounds with matching lines and buttons. Beautiful

Animated GIFs, Icons and Clip Art
Animated GIF Collection
The Casey's have a wonderful collection here. It's large and is updated
at least weekly. There's also a small collection of MIDI files to
listen to while you download your GIFs.
Cave of Info
This is one of the main places I found my Halloween graphics for the
Haunted House. He also runs the Caverns of Blood.
Randy's Icon and Image Bazaar
This place has tons and tons of icons for use on web pages. I
highly recommend it. Randy doesn't have alot of Animated GIFs
but his icons are top notch.
Rose's Animated GIFs
Rose must have one of the largest, and nicest Animated GIF Collections
around. She's constantly updating it as well. She also has a collection
of background's she's designed, and she has java applets for downloading.
Icon Depot
The Icon Factory has tons of great icons, buttons and other graphics
for your Web Pages. Also soon to come, Animated GIFs as well.
Caboodles of Clip Art
Just what it says.. Caboodles of Clip Art. Animated GIFs are offered
here as well.
Carol's Clip Art Collection
Carol has a very large collection of Clip Art here. I especially
liked the letter collection.
Beat Factory
Fairy has lots of really nice Animated GIFs, Icons and 3D art and
lettering.
Vulcan Enterprises
You can get quite a bit of stuff from Vulcan. They have icons,
backgrounds, lines and buttons. These are all original, not what
you see on everyone else's pages. They also have an HTML guide
and design tips.
The MousePad
VikiMouse has got to have the cutest graphics around. She designs
them all herself and she has some really unique designs to pick from.
I created my homes for my Cyber-Kitty, and Cyber-Horse with several
of her graphics. All she asks is that you provide a link back to
her page with her logo.
HTML Help
Cybert '96 - HTML Guide
There is alot of info on many aspects of HTML on these pages. You
can find very basic HTML tips, or help with frames. Very much
worth a visit.

Doctor HTML
When you have your page done, take a visit to Doctor HTML and see
how good your HTML mechanics are. Eeek! I had many extra opened
tags that I never would have known about if it weren't for this
VERY excellent FREE service.
Top 10 Rules for Home Page Design
Scott, from "Infinite Fish" gives out some excellent advice on
Web Page Design. Before I read this, I had NO idea how important
it was to put Height and Width dimensions on my images.
Miscellaneous
The Banner Generator
Wow, this is a new web designer's dream. A place where you can
actually make banners online. There are many background's to
mount them on as well. Choose your type style, what you want to
say, color scheme, special effects, and tada... there you have it,
your own banner.
URL-Minder - Your Own Personal Web Robot
After you have your pages up, you might want to register with the
URL-Minder. If you have pages that change often, and you want
people to be able to know when your pages are updated, this is the
perfect service to use. It's FREE too! They will register whichever
pages you wish to have monitored, and then they give you the HTML
code to paste in your page. There are several types that you can
use. Other users have uploaded their ideas on how to best use
this service. When your pages have changed, each person that has
registered to monitor that page will receive an email informing
them of the change. Quite helpful if you have things for people
to download. The only work you do is adding the code to your page.
Complete Idiot's Guide to JavaScript
I got the book and the web site tells alot of what you learn in the
book. If you have a Netscape Browser and would like to try some
interesting things, give this page a try. JavaScript is the baby
sister of Java. It can't do as much as Java can, but then it is
much much easier to learn.
Gamelan
Gamelan is mainly for Java applets and discussions, but they have
information on JavaScript as well. Check this great resource out
for either of these.
CoolNerds
Alan Simpson is an author of several computer books, and he has
information on his books as well as some JavaScript programs you can
get for FREE. I have his JavaScript clock, and background sound
picker on my pages. They are really not very difficult to put in,
and I have found that when I had a question regarding them, he was
very helpful to me on how to implement them.
WebTracker
Track your pages with this great product. It's a counter, plus!
It will track your visitors by Browser type, Time of the Day, Day of
the Week, Operating System, and more. And it's all free! :)
