Words
tumbling to my monitor screen
from the deep recesses
of my mind

Light and dark within 
spill onto the page
as I explore my feelings
in written verse

Feelings written down in lines
remind me of the times
I passed through 
good and bad

My heartfelt emotions
I share word by word
mementos of a past
and a heart 
knowing both joy and pain

Words
seldom expressed
until from my fingers
they fall
and one day tell all
of the life that was mine
