She's Not Young
(Anderson)

I'm just sitting here with her on my mind
Wondering if I'm ever going to find her changed
Her sister, she told her, "Have fun 'til you're older"
But it's gonna take a little more than age to set her straight
I hope she doesn't grow up too late
What I can't say I'll put in song:
She's not young, she's just wrong

Well I'm pulling out the pieces of pain
Wondering if I'll ever find a smile again
After the tears of betrayal, I open her mail
And she writes as if there's nothing more to say, but that's a lie
We still could say goodbye
What I can't say I'll put in song:
She's not young
She's just wrong to play with my affections in this way
So although I really love her
I would rather never see her
Than to ever let her toy with my life

So I'm sitting here with her on my mind
Wondering if we'll ever find our love again
And though I still want to hold her, perhaps when she's older
But for now she has to know that she decides what moves she makes
And chooses here mistakes
What I can't say I'll put in song:
She's not young, she's just wrong.
