'The Brooklyn Side'

The Bottle Rockets' second effort, 'The Brooklyn Side,' is a bit more rock-oriented than their first, yet there remains glimpses of a country feel and perspective as well. The record is rambunctious and noisy from start to finish and isn't afraid to dip into an extended session of guitar play or the occasional bit of feedback. 'The Brooklyn Side' was originally released on East Side Digital in 1994, but when the Rockets were signed onto TAG/Atlantic Records, the album was re-released under their new major label. The first single from 'The Brooklyn Side,' Radar Gun, was a hit on mainstream and modern rock radio, and the follow-up, I'll Be Coming Around also received a good deal of airplay.
