Most of you probably know who Ani DiFranco is, so I'll keep it short. Ani DiFranco is, most likely, the best singer/songwriter/guitarist in the world. She's a completly self-made artist-she started her own record company, Righteous Babe Records, at 19, and has gone on to release 12 (yep, count 'em 12) solo albums. I first heard Ani in '96, when I heard 'Outta Me, Unto You' on the only independent station in Lansing. After hearing that and 'Shameless' I knew I had to buy the album. So, I went to the store looking for cd's by Annie DiFranco (hey- I didn't know how to pronounce it!!) (By the way it's pronounced Ah-nee, in case you're impaired like me!!) Anyway, ever since Ani has been my favorite solo grrrl. Check her out 'cuz she rocks!! Oh yeah, if you haven't seen Ani live your probably missing out on the best concert of your life!!!
