I adore Tori Amos. I started listening to her when I was in the sixth grade (which means I've been a Tori fan for six years now!). I remember seeing her on one of those Good Morning, America type shows. Under The Pink had just come out and she played Pretty Good Year (which is still, to this day my favorite Tori song). I was floored. My sister played piano and I was never too impressed with the classical stuff. But when Tori played it was like, wow! It was beautiful. Since that day I've gotten all of her albums, a couple really bad bootlegs, the vast majority of the singles, and two videos. I've also seen her live three times. She even inspired my own brief jaunt into the world of piano lessons. She is kind of wierd but I think that is what makes her so appealing. Check her out if you haven't already...
