The Baron Von Wanton

Duties: Guitar, bass.

The Baron Von Wanton was born approximately 8000 years ago on a remote island in the Atlantic. It was there he built the world's first known instrument, the Fishhorn. Near the third quarter of this century, he migrated to the United States and became a major figure in the Chicago blues scene. In addition to inventing the atom and the toaster pastry, The Baron was the legendary seventh Beatle and spiritual advisor for two presidents.

Shying away from fame, The Baron then relocated near Airmaus' Haus in the 1980's, where he still has complete mind control over the citizens of Paraguay. From there he joined Johnny BeGooode & Airmaus, adding fluid guitar and bass to the experimental ramblings.

The Baron currently appears on nearly three hundred recordings, mostly blues in nature. However, these are not registered under the discography, for The Baron insists all his work before 1995 was inconsequential. During the JBA hiatus of late 1997, The Baron recorded a solo album which he hasn't let me listen to yet. Once I do, I'll post it on the discography.
