"I already said I'm sorry!!!What more do you want me to say?!?" Taylor yelled at the top of his lungs.Avie and Jessie were outside,playing Barbies.
"I forgive you for god sakes!! I said I forgive you!!"I yelled back,just as loud.
"Oh,sorry."He replied.
"That's okay."I said.
"Alyssa,what was this about 'not my fault I almost got killed'?"Taylor quoted.
"Short story.When I was running,I almost got killed,I was taken to the hospital to regain my strength and run tests, then I was released.The end."I said as I collasped onto the couch.
"Oh my god.I did this to you.If I hadn't yelled at you…I didn't know…I'm,I'm sorry."Taylor said.
"It's okay,really it is.I shouldn't have mentioned,I mean, what really happened to her Taylor?"I said.He stared at me, then stared blankly into thin air.
"Our relationship Gaby,I don't think its working out.I mean,we hardly-"Taylor discontinued.Gaby was filled with tears.
"I gave you everything!!This is how you repay me!!How could you Jordan!! I don't ever want to see you again!!"Gabriela yelled.She was a gorgeous girl.Chestnut brown eyes,long luscious brown hair,so perfect in every way.Her skin,soft as silk.She had a body every girl wished for,but everything of her seemed so artifical.Her chest was a size 36B, pretty big considering she as only 14.Her skin,looking so fragile. All of the life,all the color,was drained out of her.
She ran off,faster than light."Gabriela!!Wait!!!"Taylor yelled after her.It was to late,she was out of sight.He stood their,helplessly.As Taylor turned around to head home, a loud bang was heard,then a car speeding off was heard as the tires screeched of into the dark night.
"Gaby?!?" Taylor yelled.No answer.He ran faster with every step, approaching a horrifying seen.On the ground,a helpless Gabriela laid on the cement.Her clothes, drenched with blood.He ran to her,and held her in his arms.
"You can't leave me now Gaby.Not now,not this way!!!!"Taylor yelled."I……I have to go.I love-"She whispered,as her eyes slowly closed."Gaby,Gaby, wake up!!" Taylor said as she shook her.His blue coat,now was stained with the sight of her blood.His eyes filled with tears, streaming down his cheek.He held her left hand,and carefully slid off her silver band.Engraved on it was "Amor". It was Spanish, meaning "love".He slid it on his hand and clenched his hand tight.He lifted her up,and carried her to the top of the flower filled hill.Their favorite place to be at,they met their,and they promised eachother they would die their.He laid her on the grass, near the rose bush."I promise you,I'll never leave you.I'll see you one day,we'll be together one day.I promise."Taylor whispered as he kissed her forehead,hoping she would awake. He knelt down next to her,and cried in his hands.The hot salty tears were running down his damp face like never before.He would see her again,they would meet again,and everything would be better…………
"I let her die,I let her die.I could have saved her,I could have had her live at least a few hours longer!!!It's all my fucking fault,no it's not my fault.It's yours,you had to bring us together,I would have never met her,and I wouldn't be in this shit!!It's your fuckin' fault!!!You don't know all the shit I went through that night-"Taylor yelled in my face.I jumped back in fear and just stared at him.
"All the shit YOU went through!?Excuse me!!At least your parents aren't fuckin' dead,at least you haven't been raped for godsakes!!! I went through more stuff than you'll ever go through!!!For god sakes Taylor,at least you don't get the same dreams warning you that something fuckin' bad is going to happen to your friend!!!!!You're a piece of shit Taylor.You get pissed by one girl.I have dead parents. You have family.I've been raped.You're famous.My friend might be in DANGER!! You're life is just handy-dandy compared to mine!!" I yelled.
(AN-On the friend thing,remember in a previous chapter,Alyssa had two dreams about her friend Samantha?I'm kinda following up on that)
"I'm outta of here.Thanks for your support."I said sarcastily.Zac and Ike came running down the stairs.
"Alyssa,where you going?"Zac asked.
"I'm leaving……I'm leaving for a while.All this shit is goin' on and until it's over with,I'll come back.I'm going to Chicago.I'll see you around Zac."I said as I gave him a hug.
"You can't be serious?!You can't leave………… I'll miss you." Zac said as he held on tight.
"I'll miss ya too.I'll be goin' now.I'll call ya." I said as I walked out the door.I really wasn't planning on leaving, it just spilled out,but on second thought,it didn't sound like a bad idea.I'm sure my sisters would let me go.I could catch up with Samantha.
"You're 17 now,I guess it would be okay.We'll buy you a plane ticket,and we'll contact Samantha's mother asking her if it would be okay if you stayed there for a while.I'll get you a flight for,Friday.Today is Tuesday.You got Wednesday and Thursday,and today to pack.Start a packin!" Hope said. "Thank yo so much!!" I said as I gave her a huge hug.I ran up to my bedroom and began packing.I was so excited!
"Nice going Taylor.You yell at her ONCE,now you go fuckin' yell at her again!!" Ike yelled.
"It's not my fuckin' fault-"Taylor stopped.
"Oh no,it's not your fault that she's going to CHICAGO 'cause of your sorry ass!!" Zac yelled.
"No,it's not my fault-"Taylor stopped."It's not my fault she looks like Gaby okay!!!God is doing this to torcher me, why the fuck you blame me?!?" Taylor yelled as a couple of tears ran down his red cheeks.
"Taylor for god sakes!!So she looks like her!!That doesn't mean shit,she looked like her before and you didn't notice. Taylor, Alyssa is gone,Gaby is dead! It's nobodys fault BUT you!! Get it through your head Taylor!What the fuck happened to you?You use to love everybody,including Alyssa. I'm sorry for all the things I ever did to her, just why can't you!?!?" Zac demanded.A crying Zoe was heard in the background.
"I got her." A weeping Taylor whispered.
"Alyssa!!!" Zac shrieked.
"Hey Zaccy!!What's up?" I asked as Zac let me in.
"Oh,Vicky,this is Alyssa,Alyssa,Vicky." Zac introduced. Vicky was a pretty girl.Long brown hair,brown eyes,and seemed fairly skinny.
"Nice to meet you."I said.
"Likewise." She replied as I shook her hand.
"So you're not leaving To Chicago?" Zac asked.
"Oh yes,I'm leaving…… today.I just came to say good bye. Where are the other boys?"I asked.
"You're leaving,for real?" Zac asked pretty disappointed.
"Yup,don't worry Zac.You have Vicky to keep you company, she seems like a nice girl." I said.Vicky blushed."Thanks." She said.Vicky seemed like everything oppisite of Zac.She was the quiet type,Zac,well,words can't explain Zac.
"Ya that's true……… oh!! Taylor is upstairs wallowing in his own self pity,Ike is out with Janet,again! And the girls, and Mackie are in the basement."Zac said as he sat down next to Vicky.
"Thanks Zac.Nice meeting you Vicky.Hope to see you around some time." I said politly.She smiled.
"Can I come in?" I asked as I knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" A voice from in the room replied.
"It's me,Aylssa." I said.Taylor quickly wiped off some tears and slid Gaby's ring back on his finger.
"Come in." Taylor said.
"I……… I come to said bye." I said as I closed the door behind me.
"Gaby,why do you have to leave me?!Why do you have to leave me ag-" Taylor stopped.
"Taylor,I'm not Gaby.I'm me,Alyssa……… Taylor,are you okay?" I asked as I knelt down beside him.His face was pale,and he was thinner than he was three days ago.
"Alyssa,I'm………… I'm sorry.I……… kinda……er… blanked out." Taylor said.
"Taylor,are you okay?What's happening to you?" I asked. I looked down to see what he was paying attention to.It was a gold band, it was shinning in the sun light.Something was engraved on it,"Amor". Gaby's ring!!! Her dad gave her that ring as a present from Mexico.
"Taylor,what's going on? It looks like you haven't been eating, and your face,you're…… you're filled with fright.What is going on??" I demanded.I knew exactly what was going on.Gaby,Gaby was causing all of this.
"I'm just a little bit sick(cough)…… I'll be(cough) okay. I'll see you (cough) later." Taylor faked,he was never good at that.
"Taylor,you're not sick.Its Gabriela isn't it!? Taylor, she's gone,you have to accept that you're not with her. But Taylor, she wouldn't like you like this, I know she wants you to move on.Her ring…… her ring says it all." I said softly as I pointed to the ring he had on his finger.
"Why do you always have to rub in she's dead???I know she is, but I'll see her again,I will." He said.
"Sure you will,but for now,you have to let her go."Amor" means never letting go and always being there, that's what love truly means.But you have to let go Taylor,you have to. I can't leave you like this,knowing you can starve to death. I won't let you do this bullshit to yourself!!"I yelled. He stared up at me, and examined all the anger,all the pain in my eyes.
"Don't cry,I hate it when you cry.You don't know how I feel,how hard it is to lose somebody you really love.You have never felt that, it's hard to let go." He explained, I knew how hard it was.I didn't really care abot my parents, but I cared about Juan.
"Yes I do Taylor! I have lost the guy that meant the world to me,Juan! Okay,you're not the only one. It was hard at first, knowing I didn't even get to apologize for all the wrong doings I had done to him. I didn't even get to say good-bye for godsakes!! He was suffering from AIDS,but that didn't stop me from loving him.He left me the only thing he treasured,his chain.You see this,his favorite chain,with the crusifix on it. I have learned to let go, but it is hard. Yo can do it Taylor, I know you can." I said as I wiped a few tears from my eyes.
"I…… I never knew that……… I'l try……… I'll really try, but I'm only doing this 'cause I love Gaby……… and I love you." He said as he smiled warmly.I gave him a peck on the cheek on stood up.
"Well,I have to go.Tell the girls I said good-bye, and Ike too.Oh!"I said as I un-zipped my carry on bag."Give this silver box to Avery,tell her to take care of it." I said as I handed him a rectangular box.
"I have more!This is for Mack,I know he'll love it,and this for Jessie.Tell her I said to take care of it, it's a fragile and precious thing." I said.Each little box had a little thing that I had bought them,well except for Avery's and Jessie's.They were mine,but I wanted them to have it.
"Okay,I'll give it to them."Taylor said as he put them on his desk.
"What's this?" I said as I acted surprised."To Jordan Taylor Hanson,I wonder who gave this to you,hmmm. Heh, don't open it,yet,until I leave.The same for Zac,both of you guys open them as soon as I'm out that door.As for Isaac, give him this." I said as I handed him three little boxes,about 3 inches big.
"Thanks,what ever it is."Taylor said."I'll walk you downstairs." Taylor said.We walked downstairs and said our good byes.
"Avery,Jessie,Mackenzie!Up here this instant!!"Taylor yelled.The three little ones looked at eachother in fear."What did we do this time?" Jessie said as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Yes Taybear?"Mackie said.Zac was standing up holding his little box,and Taylor had his boxes, while Vicky was watching in amusement.
"Alyssa was kind enough to get you these things.She told me to tell Mackie to enjoy his present,and for Avie and Jessie to take care of it." Taylor said as he handed each kid the little box.
"Why couldn't she give it to us in person?"Avery asked.
" 'Cause she had to leave,that's why.Now be careful,and when you see her thank her for what she gave you."Each kid nodded, and then opened the lid to their box.Each face lighted up with joy.
"It's beautiful.'Hope you like the rings,each symbol on the ring means 'friendship,what's this word Tay?" Jessie asked.
"Amor,it means love." Taylor said.
"Friendship,amur..." Jessie prounced."Amor.With an O." Taylor corrected.
"Amor,and care.Take care of these rings you two, I had three,and they are very special.Now the three of us will be friends till the end!Love and kisses,Alyssa." Jessie read.
"What she get you Mackie?" Vicky asked.
"A chain,will a symbol on it." Mackie said,he was five,and enjoyed things like that.
"That's the Chinnese symbol for 'Care and Protection'. It says if worn,it protects you from all evil spirits." Taylor explained.
"Cool!" Mack relpied.
"The symbol only means care,but that little dragon stands for protection." Taylor corrected himself.
"Damn! Look at this,the chain,the chain that belonged to her.Wait,she just had it on…… hold up…… the crusifix is smaller,hold up,what's this.'Gabriela Adorno Friend to all,love to one'." Taylor read.His eyes widend.Gabriela's chain,her most precious chain.Alyssa had the engravement engraved especially for her.She stole the chain,and had it engraved and returned it to her as a gift.
Zac opened his lid,and his eyes became the size of saucers. He had gotten a gold band.Two were in there.He took them out and noticed a little piece of paper.He unfolded it and read it.
"Hey Zaccers.You're wondering why I put two bands in their,and may I say,very EXPENSIVE bands.I'm playing with ya Zac, these are mine.I bought them in Mexico,and had them engraved, especially for you.The second one I had engraved a little while ago.I heard about Vicky,so the second one,the smallest, is for her.Your names are engraved on them, and that little Chinnese symbol means 'always and forever'.Cool right??Enjoy it Zac,it is said to bring luck to a relationship and have it last until they day both of you shall die.Hugs,Alyssa."Zac read.
(AN-The thing about the Chinnese symbol,I just made it up.If I have Chinnese people reading my story,I hope you are not offended.)
