        Too Much foi o segundo compacto lançado para o álbum SpiceWorld e chegou às lojas européias no Natal de 1997. Pela segunda vez consecutiva, elas emplacaram um compacto no primeiro lugar no Natal. O primeiro 2 Become 1. Too Much, ao contrário de Spice Up Your Life, não foi nenhum problema nas vendas. Chegou e cumpriu sua tarefa direitinho. Too Much também é a música que abriu o filme SpiceWorld.

        É uma melodia mais lenta que fala de falta de amor e excesso de vazio em relações, com diz o refrão: "Too Much of nothing...'' ("Muito de nada..."). A letra é bem escrita e com versos fáceis, mas com mensagens de certa profundidade, apesar da simplicidade.

        Os remixes ficam por conta de uma versão orquestrada (parte 2), muito bem conduzida por sinal, e o outro (parte 1), o SoulShock & Karlin Remix, com batidas mais fortes, preservando o estilo e a melodia da música. As faixas inéditas são Outer Space Girls (parte 1) e Walk of Life (parte 2), esta um ensaio de reggae e ska que descreve Londres através do olhar das SPICE GIRLS. Outer Space Girls é um pop/dance no mais puro estilo Wannabe/Say You'll be There, com uma letra até divertida que retrata as garotas como pessoas de outro planeta, mas com uma mesma atitude e marca registrada: inovação e ousadia!

        O vídeo de Too Much obteve duas versões. Uma, de alcance mundial, com trechos retirados do filme, enquanto a outra, destinada ao mercado do EUA, sem os trechos do filme. Cada garota assume um papel diferente, estando em cenários que condiziam à representação delas. Mel B encarnou Mad Max, Geri transformou-se em Rita Hayworth, Victoria fez uma Mulher Gato de deixar Michelle Pfeiffer morrendo de inveja, Emma encarou a menina traumatizada de Poltergeist e Mel C deu uma de Jean-Claude Van Damme encarando o Ano do Dragão. Uma produção super caprichada conferiu ao vídeo altíssima qualidade.

        Dessa vez a crítica foi um pouco menos cruel e até fez alguns elogios. A música foi um grande sucesso nas rádios brasileiras, podendo ser a que mais fez sucesso tirada do álbum SpiceWorld até o lançamento de Viva Forever.

        As fotos das capas foram retiradas da revista ELLE britânica (estas fotos na íntegra estarão brevemente disponíveis na sua SPICE UP BRASIL), para qual as SPICE GIRLS fizeram um ensaio fotográfico. A capa da parte 1 britânica (acima) é igual à versão americana. No Reino Unido, ambas as partes trouxeram um postal do SpiceWorld: the game de presente. Este jogo já foi lançado para o Sony Playstation.
