6/18/99-

• Jimmie Scooter may not be a part of the wonderful CT ska scene anymore, but you can't get rid of them that easy. This changes every minute, but here's the dilly anyways...Jodi and John are playing with the 5KS crew; Geoff, Jeff, and Rich are playing in a new trad band called The Clampdown that's grown out of the ashes of JS, SK7, and the Rack 'em up mob. I don't know about Brett or Dutton. And Brian's in New Jersey being a Mature Adult. That's it. So the roller coaster ride that was Jimmie Scooter comes to an end, although I suppose the JSC lives on in the hearts of everyone that got dragged into it...or something gay like that. Hey John, gay. Anyways, love and stuff and thanks to everyone who ever did anything cool for us.

6/7/99-

• Well I think it's about fucking time for an update. As the main page says, the JSC's last show is going to be on June 12th at the Hebron Music Fest. It will also be the CD release party...a little strange yes, but hey, we like it that way. There's only going to be 100 cd's pressed, so if you want one, get it early. Anyways, almost everyone in the band will still be making noise. Jodi and John are playing with 5 Knuckle Shuffle, those crazy Meriden kids. They don't like me though, I got a little too up close and personal with Mike's grill...sorry. Bickford's got some new project up his sleeve, Jodi said Dahm's is in on that one too. Everyone else? They'll be around...until September anyways. But of course Brian's in New Jersey, with two working feet again.
  So come out to Hebron on the 12th, it's your last chance to have Brett sign your shoe.

5/17/99-

• A few little things that are finally coming together for Jimmie Scooter. First of all, on Saturday, we finished our recording and now we're finishing the CD jacket and finding a dubbing place. Secondly, we're trying to put together some small tours for this summer locally. If anyone is willing to help us with this, let us know. Finally, we finally got our new singer. His name is Brian( I see a trend). Unlike Brian #1, this Brian has a more melodic sound which slightly changes our sound but we think it will all work out, it's a nice change. Well I think thats about it for now kiddies!!

5/7/99-

• Hello everyone!! This is Jodi here. I'm writting this to let everyone know that I have decided to leave the band. We're going to finish the CD together(which will be released June 12th at the Hebron Ska Fest). The guys are looking for a new trombone player I guess though so if you are interested, please let one of them know. So I guess thats about it. I'm sure everyone will still see me around, either playing a few last shows with Jimmie Scooter or I'll now be playing with the 5 Knuckle Shuffle so you'll see me there! But as for now, this is Jodi, signing off! Later

4/5/99-

• Well Jodi decided to move to Kansas to be a redneck and get a bunch more cows, Bickford announced he's running for President and if elected, he'll make sure that all girls are "fine and online," and Brett's had enough of this small scene shit so he's joining Motley Crue so he can be a real rock star...so Brian decided he's had enough and left the band. Ok, just kidding, but unfortunetly Brian really is leaving. To move to the scenic state of New Jersey. Not because he hates us all. Supposedly Jodi's gonna make him write a nice sappy farewell for this page, but who knows when that'll happen...at the rate this band moves. But that's the dilly yo, for anyone who actually might come here and give a shit. And I just have to say that while it sucks that I won't have anyone to buy me coffee anymore, I won't miss trying to back down Brian's driveway...

3/7/99-

• Yes, it's true...the planets have aligned, the moon is right, and time has finally been agreed upon and arranged to get back into the studio starting April 3. And going until who knows when. And some things are still a little unconfirmed (what else is new), but I do know that the Allstonians are coming down and will lay down a couple tracks. And I think Jay Adelberg is producing the thing. In other news, Chris Dutton is back in the band, adding some stage presence to the horn section and giving Jodi one more excuse never to solo. Welcome back to the insanity...er, I mean family!

2/25/99-Jodi update

• I always seem to forget to add new stuff to the news page so here we go. First of all, we are currently looking into purchasing a van..his name will be Henry. We will be needing this van for our future plans of touring. We are starting a little traveling in a few weeks hopefully to Philly and i will post that date as soon as i find out. Uhm...we're trying to take a little break right now so we can finish writing new songs and teaching our trumpet player how to play a song. We think we will get to the studio soon but there is no confirmed date as of right now. So thats all the news for now but keep checking in for more updates and whatnot. Thanks for the ct scene report. Oh and before i forget, please read #61 on the guest book and write us an email(jimmiescooter@hotmail.com)with your responce and we will most likely post it. Bye

2/15/99-

• There's not much news, but I felt bad because it hasn't been updated in a while. So, um, there might be some big news coming up, but I don't exactly know what the fuck is going on. hint: if you visited the page last night or earlier today, you know what I mean... Now you're all intrigued. Ok, news (all subject to change, as usual): JS is going back in the studio the first week of March or so, and are planning to throw together an East Coast tour this summer with the Paisanos and who knows who else. Oh, and the merch page is finally up and looking like every other page, so that's good. So go buy a sticker or something and support these poor starving musicians.

1/8/99-

• New pictures are up, a few anyways. And more links, too. And there's more shows coming up than what's listed, but Jodi can't remember any of them right now. Hopefully she will eventually. The bio page will be up soon too, I promise...really.

Jodi update: 12/10/98-

• We're going back into the studio soon, and will be recording tracks with The Allstonians and the Youthful Offenders. Jay Adelberg from the late Johnny Too Bad will be producing the album
• an April tour around New England with another local band is in the works
• We are currently working on a newsletter that will be sent out as soon as its done. If anyone would like a copy via snail mail or e-mail, please contact Jodi
• We are also working hard on getting more merchandise. We're deciding on a logo for our t-shirts, pins, and stickers, which will be available as soon as we agree on one logo and get the shit
