Hereare pictures of glazed pieces. Here are pictures of wheel thrown projects.

This was a project that involved leather hard slab with a minimun of 4 connections (I made that requirement huh?) with 'engobe' and scratches in it. I used a glaze that has rutile and iron in it. On a white stoneware the glaze looks blue and purple with golden waves.... since I have a red clay.. It comes out pretty much as above, mustardy. Though this wasn't as ass-nasty as I thought it might look in this color, it did have some navy blue areas on it that didn't look half bad, I still wish it was blue/violet. The more or less matching teacup is shown with this.

I was going to do a bowl for this project but That just was not working out. I squashed the bowl and made this lenticular vase instead. It looks round from this side, but in reallity it is not. It's lentil shaped. For all you druggies out there (and I know youare out there), it's pill shaped. Shown unglazed and glazed.

Top view of Carnivorous Pitcher. Note the teeth and the fly on the edge of digestive doom.

Really bad view of the side. Better pictures will be up after it is fired. If it does not explode in the kiln that is. The handle is already trying to crack.

With glaze just before it goes into the kiln.

It was this mythical chicken-snake thing that could kill with a glance. It's hatched from regular chickens, so when you find the chicken that produced it you have to kill it before it can produce more. So some knight used a mirror to kill it. I made this because my mother collects these kinds of things (chickens not basiliski (pl?). Shown unglazed and glazed. This came out really nice.
