Bio and Thanks
Incase you wanna know how we came about, well...here it is; the inside scoop!(written by Luke)
Jason (drums) and I (bass) started talking about getting a Christian punk rock band together about Oct.-Nov. '97. Jason's other band, 5point0 (a really good punk/ska band)always had shows in Norristown and West Chester and the conversasion would always come up to start a band. But on a road trip to a show in Baltimore, which never was to be, we decided to get serious about this. The next mission was to find a guitarist who had the same goals. So we talked to one of our really good friends, Ian. He joined and it went pretty well at first. We learned a couple Mxpx and Ghoti Hook cover songs and just practiced them for a bit. After a couple of weeks we saw that this wasn't working out too well. So the whole thing came to a halt. It was mainly because Ian didn't have the time or the interest to pursue it. But Ian helped us get started, and we got to know him a little bit more through this. So then me and Jason were left with looking for another guitarist. We asked our friend Tyler if he was interested, and he was. We started practicing again in Jason's bedroom and learned some more cover songs. December 23rd was the first time we played in front of a "live audience." This was for Tyler's 18th birthday party. After that we had our first song, entitled "Questions."
After that we started pumping our new songs like crazy. There was one point were we had a new song every week! We also decided to recruit another guitarist to make a fuller sound and do some solos and fun stuff like that. So we added Doyle to the roster. Doyle played a couple places with us but he didn't have the same goals as we did as to how we wanted the band to be so he left. No hard feelings though. And that's where we are now, about to put out a tape and we're getting to play some REAL shows and occassionally a party or two.
