June 2000 - This update has been a long time coming....very sorry.
Trigger have reformed after their four month hiatus. Josh Holt (Tighties) is filling in on bass duties. Their next show is at the North by Northeast Music Festival June 9th at Everest/Twiggy in Toronto.
Scene Police Records and Trigger had been discussing a March release in Europe with a tour to follow Summer 2000.
We've been promising MP3's forever, but hold on tight! They will be available very soon.
September 1999 - Trigger's debut CD NUMBER ONE FAN is released September 23, 1999. It is released by poptastic and will be distributed in Canada by Sonic Unyon Records . The CD Release Party is Wednesday, September 22, 1999 at Mermaid's Lounge in Hamilton, (Hess Village).
Trigger are finalists in the CFNY 1999 New Music Search . Check out their website for more details!
Trigger played the CFNY showcase at North By Northeast As a result the band were asked to play at the "Celebrate Toronto" street party July 10.
Trigger debuted at #6 on the CFMU 93.3 FM charts and at #30 on the CKMS-FM Top 35. The station is in Waterloo, Ontario.
Day Job is released in the U.K. on a compilation CD titled, "Abuse Your Friends II - Something to Excite You".
