WHY BOTHER
"As I stand alone on the threshhold,
looking out into the darkness.
I think to jump,
and I find that I am far too tired to even be afraid.
For I have stood at this place before,
and I have flung myself into this particular darkness
many times in the past.
and while it is very cold,
and very silent,
it is also familiar.
I am numb to its real charms through,
and so thusly it will be the next time I stand here as well."
