We first meet Zechs when he fights the first product of Operation Meteor: Heero Yuy in Wing Gundam 01. Heero takes out 3 of Oz's MS, but Zechs takes him down as well.

Noin's first appearance is less successful, her entire training base at Lake Vuctoria is blown up by Wufei.^eeew!

At first, Noin preffers to call Zechs "Sir", only occasionally slipping and referring to him as Milliardo.

We soon learn Zechs is the eldest Peacecraft son. Having chose to fight for Oz and avenge the death of his father and country, he no longer considered himself a Peacecraft, and donned that ugly mask.

Anyway, Heero is seen self-destructing 01, where Zechs sees he's just a kid. A Month or so later, Zechs organizes a battle, unbeknownst to Oz. Piloting the Tall Geese, he plans to fight Heero in Antarctica. Noin is sent ot fetch Heero, who goes, along with Trowa Barton.

Relena gets wind of this somehow, and flies in with Pargan. She's almost shot down, but Noin knows it her^{isn't she cool?}, and lets her come.

'Lena is furious and, in her cute lil snowsuit, demands they stop fighting. When they pay her no notice, she that Heero kill Zechs.^{isn't she peaceful?} Nion chimes in , urgently begging her not to say such things about her own brother. Relena is shocked, her ownly previous knowlede of the Lightning Count was that he was a "knight" form her kingdom. Hey, the girl just recently found out she was a Peacecraft! So can you blame her?

An incoming Allies attack cuts the battle short, and Treize informs Zechs that he has to "die" for OZ, like a martyr.

Zechs tells the others to go, that he has to fight this one alone. Noin is worried: "Please stay alive, Zechs. The Times need you. ... I need you..."

So LT Merquise pretends to die at the hands of the Allies, for the sake of OZ. It becomes apparabt that he isn't entirely happy with taking orders form "His Excellency", while Noin follows her Zechs and no one else.

Howard finds The Lightning Count, and nurse him back to health. He loses the mask^yay!, and the Tallgeese is fixed.

Zechs comes back from the grave as Peace Ambassador Milliardo Peacecraft, a delegate from the Sanc Kingdom representing the Earth. His appearance noticably shakes up Lady Une. Just like Noin stopping Une from slapping her, telling her to be more graceful.....^{aren't they cool?!}

Lucrezia also moves on to work for the Sanc Kingdom, helping Relena. (No one cared that she left OZ without notice?)

Shortly after Heero receives the mind-warping Epyon from Treize, Howard fixes Zero to be used by Zechs.. Milliardo.. whatever! He had surpassed the Tallgeese's capabilities, being so skilled! ;P

Milliardo originally fights to protect Earth from the Romafellar Foundation (which controls OZ), something that would change later. He tries to enlist the help of the Gundam Boys, but they refuse and start a fight.

Meanwhile, Lucrezia is trying to serve "Princess" Relena the best she can. She tries to persuade her not to blindly march into the Foundation unprotected, but 'Lena doesn't listen. She storms off with Pargan in tow.^{but of coourse!}

Back at the battlezone, Zechs handles Zero quite well and more than holds his own against Duo and Wufei (the others aren't fighting or aren't there). Quatre calls them back, and Zechs encourage them to fight for peace.

After storming into the Romafeller foundation, Relena learns her kingdom is under attack. The boys battle the MD, while Noin escorts the civillians to safety in a Taurus. But she soon joins the fight, meanwhile Zechs hears of the fight and heads for earth. Relena is forced to make a live speech saying that she is dissolving the SAnq Kingdom.

Noin and the others make plans to leave by shuttle, but Heero intends to find Relena. On his way he meets up with Zechs and the two start up their stupid fight again. By chance, or good plot sense, they end up crash-landing in front of the Romafeller Foundation. When 'Lena admits to working for the foundation, Heero threatens to shoot her. But Zechs then pulls a gun on him. (Did he really think her brother would just stand there?!?) At this point they switch Gundams and Zechs takes the Epyon.

After finishing the fight with the incoming MD, Heero wants to finish their on-going battle. But Zechs deems him not ready and leaves. He soon gets a transmission from Trieze, who informs him that Relena knows what shes doing and its time to choose "new roles". (FYI Treize, life is not a play!) Anyway this is when Zechs joins up with the White Fang, led by Quinze.

By this time Noin and the others have taken refuge on Peacemillion with Howard. To Noin's unease they recieve a broadcast from the White Fang's battleship Libra, where Milliardo is stating that the colonies are taking control, that they will eliminate the earth. Duo & Wu Fei are all set to fight but Noin can't help but think Zechs must have his reasons for doing this.

The battle soon rages between Oz and the White Fang, with the Gundams trying to protect what they can. Libra manages to take out Oz's fortress Barge, but Trieze makes an anouncement that the White Fang will pay for revolting against Mother Earth. Relena (and Dorothy.. Ick!) board Libra, where she tries to convince her brother he's doing the wrong thing. He refuses to listen and she refuses to leave until he does.

Meanwhile the Gundam boys discuss which side to take, most vote to side with Trieze exceot Wu Fei who wishes to defeat him. At this point Noin seems rather lost, Zechs' rash actions are tearing her apart.

The battle ensues with Trieze taking out White Fang's MD rather easily. Quinze soon learns Zechs had the MD's "fixed" so they couldn't fight Leos. Zechs wants to make this a human-to-human battle and leaves to fight. Quinze has suspiscions that he may just be ditching them. Along the way Milliardo meets up with Heero (again) and urges him to join forces like his father and the real Heero Yuy did once. Heero takes off to save Relena while Zechs moves onto his real battle. Noin finally reaches him , and after hearing his discussion with Heero is at ease with her faith in him. She wishes to fight along side him but he tells her to got to Relena, too, and of course she listens.

Quinze takes it upon himself to charge Libra's battery to be fired at.. earth!! Une and Trieze do what they can to stop this, and even Peacemillion gets in on it. Quinze fires away, but because of Peacemillion, misses its target. The PM crew has to evacuate, while back on Libra, Quinze has gone nuts and is trying to shoot Relena. Heero shows up in time to save her (of course) but Quinze still points the falling ship towards earth. Heero escapes with Relena, then drops her off on Noin, so he can continue to his silly fight with Zechs.

After Treize's death, Une anounces the Earth's defeat, but Zechs still insists on fighting, and Libra is still plumetting towards Earth. Their fight is broadcast everywhere to bring mankind the brutal truth of how pointless war is. The Gundams themselves shut off, deeming the battle worthless, but the guys still want to fight. Zechs puts that stupid mask back on and they fight without their Zero-systems, ubtil Heero breaks said mask.
