| "'I Can't Help
Falling In Love With You' is a song I loved ever since I first heard
Elvis sing it, but I knew it was last because the order of tunes had
already been set.
"And I knew it was the last tune on the album, and I realized that, well, most old movies have a big ending and all he tunes up until that point just kind of gently faded away. "I thought, 'Well here's my chance to be cinematic.' So I wrote this huge big ending... kind of reminiscent of like the 20th Century Fox themes, and I thought that would be a good way to close the album. So I did." |
