Remix wars often throw up better results than a straight remix because
the protagonists usually have more interest in, and respect for, each
other than the thought of a couple of grand for slapping some
left-over breakbeat in and dropping the vocal, thanks very much...And
so it is here as Mark Stewart gets Alec Empire, Nico from No U-Turn
and Johnny Violent to tear his "Control data" LP track up into tiny
audio shreds, pepper it with distortion and shove it squealing into a
tech/gabba/digital hardcore straightjacket with several pounds of
semtex strapped to its wedding tackle. Strong stuff indeed. In every
sense.
