The Ballad of Johnny X
Johnny X and Jim
This page is dedicated to another AWESOME guy that I've known most of my life,
My nieghbor John. (aka Johnny X, Johnny Rotten, Rotten X, ect.) This is one hell
of a great guy, I kid you not! I first met Johnny X when I was about 3 or 4 years
old and my family had just moved to West Milford. We were all in my yard, and who should
walk over with a blue mouth and a bomb pop but...you guessed it---Johhny X! Since then
we've been great friends. I really consider him a brother more than anything.
Currently Johnny X is living with his best friend Jim, next door to me. It's awesome to have such great friends so close to you---they're always there when you need them. (I guess cause i never warn them when I come over so they don't have time to run.)
He is 22, collects soundtracks religiously, does great
impressions (Bostonian, George Bush, ect.), and is hillarious!
Right now he is an assistant manager at a video store near us (Video Vals) and thoroughly enjoys his job. Hey, he gets paid for doing what he loves all day- who wouldn't be happy.
There was a time when one of my greatest joys in life was to go on an "excellent adventure" with Johnny X and my cousin Jammy-Jams in John's car and end up on some road in the middle of nowhere, hanging out the window in a t-shirt while it's snowing. No matter where we ended up it was sure to be a "good old fashioned, car-kicking, pinwheel-stealing, singing, screaming, candy-flicking good time"! Another great joy is the kick-ass car chases with Lyn and Graham in one car and me and Johnny X in the other. (Johnny's got the coolest car in the world) But seriously, John's an awesome guy, you should get to know him if you have the chance to.
Now Jim's another story- He's a jerk with no car or house or life and no one likes him. hahaha (It was just a joke-don't kill me) No, actually he's a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. He is also 22, but he doesn't have a job and i don't think he ever will. Although, he is the singer of "Hardcore Logo"- a guess that's kinda like a job...except you don't get paid.
Seriously though, me and Jim's friendship isn't so much about where we go or what we do...we have more fun together when we just sit and talk for hours. Ya know, as i sit here pondering how to fit "THE VAN" into this little bio thing, I realize that there is no subtle way to talk about the van-you just have to blurt it out. That being said---Jim has this awesome van that he bought with my brother Graham. It's old and rusted and a piece of crap, but at the same time IT ROCKS!!!! It's mostly used for an equipment van (although Jim was sleeping in it for a while) and it will soon be cover in band logos. It's already begun---I recently painted the Dead Kennedy's logo a back window.
Well, I guess that's it for now. A good chunk of months will probably go by before I update this again-so enjoy it while it's new.
