Girls vs. Math?

So I say... I'm one bad relationship closer to happiness, aint I? I've crossed another one off the list... only a couple million to go.

Hmn, but lets think about that. What part of the population is female? Well, for arguments sake lets say 50%. So that gets rid of half of the people on earth. What's the whole population... maybe 6 billion? So I'm down to 3 billion.

Now lets consider how many of those that are left are in my age range, which for guys is half your age plus seven til whenever you think they're too old for you so I've heard, so that would be 17.5 to 23 years of age, a stretch of 5.5 years. So if I divide that number evenly into the population stream, assuming that women live on an average of 78 years. Now we divide the remaining population of women into age chunks, dividing 78 by 5.5. That gives me 14.18 different age chunks. That means my one age chunk is 1/14.18th, or 7%. And 7% of 3,000,000,000 is 210,000,000.

Now take away from that how many people I would consider as ugly. Well no, lets say how many people could be considered good looking, because there's ugly and there's normal, but really we're all looking for attractive. I'm going to say 30% of girls really turn my head. That leaves 6,300,000.

From here it gets kind of sketchy. I have to take away a stupid people percentage. Stupid people make up roughly 75% of the world. Bye bye to 4,725,000 babes, hello to 1,575,000 girls.

Now, how many of those girls left would actually date me or give me a chance? Well, I give it an arbirary 15% that would. That's 236,250 bodacious babes.

Now for the final subtraction, take away all the girls I've already either dated or been rejected by. Not a huge number, only around 20 or so.

And that's my math. That's 236,230 girls, worldwide mind you, that are even nearly suited for me. I couldn't estimate any of the other equations too well... like how many of these girls it would be possible for me to ever actually run into... how many could actually tolerate me for an extended period of time... things like that are impossible to tell. Nevertheless... 236,230 is a fairly large number. It's more than the population of MY town, anyhow.
