I find this amusing.

A couple of nights ago, doing dishes, something struck me. Sorry ladies, it was not a large feminist with a crowbar... it was a thought, and not too rudimentary of one either. My thoughts raced back to the Breasted Menace, and just why is it males think they have to have a girlfriend. The answer my friend, is the media. In the same way the media promotes perfection in the lives of females and ruins their lives making them pursue the impossible, they do so to us males. Now, I will admit that the females still get the worst from the media. They get eating disorders and low self esteem whereas us males simply get very very very frustrated. We are still coming out ahead on the lack of equality in the media. BUT... it still does get us. Think about it. Do you watch tv? What shows? Now you must like one sitcom or two, yes, you can admit it. Who are the coolest guys on those shows? The ones with the girlfriends, or at least the ones that "score" and can handle women. The same in movies... in magazine ads, billboards... basically everything.

Except one place.

Yes, it was brought to my attention by a nameless struggling member of the BREM Resistance Freedom Force that there is one character that signifies all that is good about the world. There is one symbol of hope, of all that is good, that we shall find our way by the light of. This man is so much more than a man. He loves to eat. He loves to sleep, and he's the cleverest son of a bitch in all of Riverdale. This man, this classic, ageless symbol of the BREM Resistance shall forever shine as a brilliant star in this sorry BREM ruled world. This man... is Jughead.

And here he is himself. My new hero:

All bow to the feet of Jughead, a cartoon I can associate with, who gives hope to any and all who own their own meat cigar.

And he's got a fucking cool hat. Hallelujah and holy shit.
