Why do childrens stories
always have to include some
vicious violence?
I mean, think about it...
Hungry wolves and witches, children falling down and breaking their crowns...
Is it to try to teach us as kids even
that there are terrifying things
if you don't follow the rules?
If you don't have a goatee and a baseball cap?
If you don't have a lot of friends?
If you just feel different from everyone else?
So wait, does this mean some lumberjack
with a sharp ax
is going to come along and save me...
Or do I get eaten by the big bad wolf?
I wish I remembered how this one ended...
