On December 8th 1980, the world lost a Beatle. We lost the man who created the Beatles.
John Lennon was shot outside of the Dakota building in New York City. It was there where he
lived with Yoko Ono and his beloved son, Sean Lennon.
Immediately, the world began to mourne, and soon the streets of New York became packed full of
fans, all chanting the words to 'Give Peace a Chance'.

Today, Lennon is hailed as an icon. He will be remembered as the Working Class Hero forever.
