This unit is, in my humble opinion, the best multi-effects unit in it's class. I'm not going to waste time telling you about how cool it is, if you want to know, click on the image above, it will take you to the Digitech page. This site is designed for people who already have it, not for people thinking about getting it. Following are some patches, offered in text format (this was the first site to offer RP-20 patches in text), and now also in sysex!! If you have any patches, send them to me, in either Sysex, or text. I will see that you are given full credit.

Also, you are going to need Wsysex if you want to download the sysex patches, you can get it here. If you dont know how to hook up your RP to your computer, check out this page. It shows how to hook up a RP-10, but it is the same with the RP-20. You will need to purchase a sound card MIDI cable (like the one in the picture at Bruce's RP-10/12 page), they go for $20 to $40, depending on the length.

Also, this site now supports .mid format patches. These are cool, because it lets you assign where the patch is going on your rp-20. To use them, you will need the digitech Updater software, you can get it here for DOS, or here for windows.

As long as your here, check out my articles on effects use.

I now have a Rp-20 mailing list/forum available. To subscribe to it, go here!
