Sidney stayed at her studio for a few more hours before heading off to meet
with Alexis. She didn't get as much work done as she would have liked.
She had so many things on her mind. She had to figure out how to talk to
Justin, calmly. She left the studio and drove to meet up with Alexis. They had a
tradition of meeting at the same restaurant almost every Saturday afternoon.
The restaurant was beautiful and had a cozy feeling to it. It was kinda
small but that was good since it less likely that Sidney and Alexis would be
recognized. The waitress noticed Sidney come in and immediately led her to
her regular booth. Sidney waited about 10 minutes and then she saw Alexis walk in.
She walked through the restaurant like she walked down the runway. She had
on short white skirt, a pink tube tube top, pink strappy sandals and a pair of pink
tinted sunglasses sat on top of her head. She walked over and sat in the
booth with Sidney.
"Hey Sid."
"Hey."
"So dish the dirt!"
"I always go first."
"Fine."
"Even though I can probably guess what your night consisted of after the party."
"Well, you know me!"
The waitress came up to take their orders. "I'll have the chicken salad and a ginger ale," Alexis said.
"And I'll have the roasted turkey sandwich and a lemonade."
"Okay I'll be right back with your orders."
Alexis turned back to Sidney. "Okay like I was saying."
"Did you and Joey get together?"
"Oh, Sid he's so wonderful! After the party we went to his place and..."
"I get the picture Lexi!"
"No, but nothing happened."
"What? Really??"
"Yeah it surprised me too, but we just talked and laughed the whole night. We got a little wasted and fell asleep in his living room."
"So you guys didn't?"
"Nope. I wanted to at first but he was just so much fun."
"Are you seeing him again?"
"Yeah, I'm going to one of his clubs tonight."
"I'm happy for you Lexi."
"Uh huh, so it's your turn. Did you and Justin hook up or what?"
"I didn't think we would at first but then..."
"Oh my God, Sid, did you get some bootay?"
"Shhhh Lexi, he came over my place after the party thanks to someone."
"Hey, I was just trying to help you two out."
"Sure, anyway he came over and we, well you know."
"I can't believe you got some and I didn't!"
"I'm just as shocked."
"So what's next with you two?"
"Nothing."
"What? Why?"
"I think he's back with his ex."
"I'm sorry Sid." "It's okay Lexi, but I promised JC I'd at least talk to him."
"That's good, you might get a happy ending after all."
"I seriously doubt that."
The waitress brought out their food. Sidney and Alexis ate and continued talking. A while later they left the restaurant. Alexis said she had to go to a few photo shoots and then get ready to go out with Joey. She said she'd call Sidney later on. Sidney got into her car and drove to Bel Air. She was going to visit Theresa so she could see the kids. She couldn't wait to see her godchildren but something else was waiting for Sidney that she didn't expect.
