Sidney pulled up in front of the Kirkpatrick household a little while later.
She walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. Inside, Theresa was
reading to the kids and Chris was working on some lyrics when she heard the
doorbell ring. Colin ran towards the front door with Theresa and Chloe
following. She opened the door to find Sidney.
"Hey Sid."
"Hi Theresa, so here are my angels!"
"Hi Auntie Sidney," Colin and Chloe said in unison.
Sidney knelt down and hugged them both. "Wow, you guys are so big!"
"We're 5 now!" Colin said holding up 5 fingers.
The twins were adorable. Colin was the out-going and direct one. He had surprisingly light features compared to his parents and sister. He had very light brown hair and light hazel eyes. He had fair skin and Sidney could tell he would be a heartbreaker when he was older. His twin sister, Chloe, was the quiet and reserved one. She seemed very mature for a 5 year old and was the complete opposite of Colin. She had long, wavy dark brown hair and big dark brown eyes. She had her mother's personality while Colin acted more like his dad. Sidney took both of their hands as they went inside.
"Chris is downstairs if you wanna go see him."
"Yeah, I guess I'll go bug him for a bit!"
"Kids, let's go watch Blue's Clues, okay?"
"Yeah!" they yelled.
"Oh, Theresa, did you and Chris get a new car?"
"What car?"
"The Benz out front, it's really nice."
"It's not ours, it belongs to Chris's friend."
"Do you think he'll mind if I interrupt?"
"No, they're probably goofing off anyway."
"Okay, thanks." Sidney made her way to the basement stairs and walked down them. The basement was set up as Chris's work area and even had a fully equiped studio in it. Sidney turned a corner to find Chris sitting at a desk. She walked up behind him and put her hands over his eyes. "Guess who?"
"Um, Tyra Banks?" Sidney took her hands away and Chris turned around. "Oh it's Sidney Denelle Shago, well I was pretty close."
"Ha, ha, ha."
"I'm joking, it's good to see ya." Chris stood up and gave her a hug.
"I hope I'm not intruding."
"Not at all."
"Where's your friend?"
"Oh he's...well speak of the devil." Chris looked over Sidney's shoulder and Sidney turned around. "Sidney I'd like you to meet Justin. Justin this is Sidney."
