Chapter Fourteen

"Come on Daddy!" Tyler yelled standing by the front door.

"Okay, here I come." JC came from downstairs and was headed out the door when the phone rang. Damnit, he thought. "Hold on Ty." JC ran into the kitchen and grabbed the phone. "Hello?"

"What's up man?"

"Justin? Hey man, I was on my way to take Ty to the park."

"Well, I just wanted to tell you that things are starting to look up for me." Justin was driving down Sunset Blvd. coming from Chris's house.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I was visiting Chris when Sid stops by..."

"Whoa, what happened?"

"I guess you can say we talked things out and all's well now."

"That's great man."

"Yeah, we're hooking up later tonight but I'm on my way to meet with Ashley."

"Okay, I'll talk to ya later then."

"Aight, later."

JC hung up the phone and grabbed his keys. He took Tyler by the hand and strapped him into the back-seat of his black Durango. JC climbed in and drove off. He pulled out the directions Michelle had given him and found her apartment without difficulty. Michelle lived in a pretty fancy apartment tower on Hollywood Blvd. JC and Tyler got out and went inside. They took the elevator up to the 14 floor and went to Michelle apartment. JC knocked on the door and Michelle opened it almost immediately. Damn, she's gorgeous, he thought. Michelle was wearing a pair of short khaki shorts, a tight white tank top, and her hair was in a messy bun. "Hey JC, so this must be Tyler."

Tyler hid behind JC. "Tyler don't be rude, say hello."

"It's okay JC, but it's too bad this sucker is going to go to waste," Michelle said pulling a cherry blow pop out of her purse.

Tyler peaked from around JC's leg and smiled as he saw what was being presented to him. He crept from around JC and cautiously took the sucker from Michelle. "What do you say Tyler?"

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"So, are you ready?" JC asked.

"Yeah. Are you ready Tyler?"

Tyler nodded while licking the sucker. The three made their way back downstairs and left for the park.

Meanwhile, Alexis was wrapping up her last photo shoot for the day.

"Okay Alexis, just give me a few more shots then we'll be done," the photographer said.

This shoot was for Cosmopolitan and Alexis was the month's cover girl. About 20 minutes later, the shoot ended and Alexis gladly left the studio. She hoped into her yellow convertible Mustang and made her way back to her home in Santa Barbara. When she got home she decided to exercise before she went out that night. She slipped on a pair of black biker pants and a purple sports bra. She went down to her basement and got onto her stationary bike. She'd been riding for about 40 minutes when the phone rang. She picked up the phone, not stopping. "Hello?"

"Hello beautiful."

Alexis then stopped peddling when she recognized who was on the other end. "Joey, hey what's goin on?"

"Nothing much. You ready for tonight?"

Alexis could hear the excitement in his voice. "Oh yeah, I hope you are too."

"Oh you know it!"

"So you have anything planned?"

"You'll just have to wait and see."

"Well, two can play this game."

"What to you mean by that?"

"You're going to have to wait and see!"

"Oh I see how it is."

"Well, I'll see ya tonight."

"Of course, bye beautiful."

"Bye Joey." Alexis hung up the phone and climbed off the bike. She went and jumped into the shower thinking of the eventful night that would hopefully be coming her way.
