Justin and Sidney entered a room with plush couches, a bar, and that was off limits to everyone except Sidney's personal guests.
"So you have your own room?"
"Yeah, Mr. Fatone insisted so I accepted."
"That's Joey, the usual flirt."
"You're right about that, but I made it perfectly clear that he's not my type."
"So what is your type?" Justin took a step towards her.
"Are you coming on to me Mr. Timberlake?"
"It's Justin, and what if I am?"
"Then you're in for disappointment."
Sidney walked around Justin over to the bar in the room. She began fixing herself a drink as Justin walked over. She looked up at him, his was looking at her with his intense blue eyes. She knew she would have to be strong to be able resist him.
"Can I fix you a drink?"
"I'll have what you're having."
"Martini straight-up?"
"That's fine." Sid fixed their drinks and gave him his.
"I want to propose a toast Miss Shago."
"Okay, to what?"
"To destiny."
Sidney smiled. "To destiny it is."
They clanked glasses and finished their drinks. Sidney went and sat down on one of the couches. Justin followed and sat beside her.
"I just want you to know that nothing is going to happen between us so don't get any ideas."
"The thought hadn't even crossed my mind."
"Good, just so you know."
"Why do I feel like you have something against me?"
"Not just you but actors in general."
"Why?"
"Well, let's see, they're usually stuck-up, selfish, heartless assholes."
"Lemme guess, you dated an actor before, he broke your heart, and now you're afraid it'll happen again."
Sidney became angry at his comment and stood up. "Don't you dare play psychiatrist with me! You know nothing about me!"
"If I don't then why are you so upset?", he asked also standing up.
"Because..."
"Because I'm right, even though you wish I was wrong."
Sidney was speechless. She couldn't see how this stranger knew the secrets of her heart. Justin reached up and caressed her cheek. He then bent down and pressed his lips to hers. At first Sidney was going to push him away but she placed her hands on his neck. Justin slipped his hands around her waist as she ran her fingers through his hair. Sidney finally regained her composure as the kiss became more passionate and pushed him back.
"What's wrong?"
"I can't do this...I don't know anything about you."
Just then, Alexis walked in.
"Hey Sid...oh sorry am I interrupting?"
Sidney walked over to Alexis. "No Lexi you have perfect timing, Mr. Timberlake was just leaving."
Justin walked toward the door past Sidney.
"Thanks for the drink Miss Shago."
He leaned over and brushed his lips against her cheek. He walked out the door as Sidney watched him.
"What was that all about Sid?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean, I walk into a room with you and Justin Timberlake alone."
"Nothing happened."
"So you just came in here to talk?"
"Fine, no we didn't just talk."
"So?"
"We kissed but that's all."
"For now!"
"It's not like that Lexi. I have no interest in him whatsoever."
"So why'd you bring him here in the first place?"
"I don't know why."
"You're attracted to him Sid, admit it."
"Fine, so he's gorgeous but I need more than a pretty face to satisfy me."
"Well, satisfy your body first, then worry about your mind!"
"I can't believe you!"
"C'mon let's go get our groove on!"
Alexis grabbed Sid's arm and pulled her back to the main part of the club.
