"Alright, here's the list of things I need done by tomorrow night."
"Okay Miss Shago, and what about the dinner tonight?"
"What dinner?"
"The dinner date you made with Robert Kelser to discuss your next line."
"Shit I forgot; call him and reschedule."
"I'll do that right away and try not to stress about the show, everything will be fine."
"I hope so; this show means a lot, it's my first summer line."
"Well, your fall, winter and spring lines were all big hits."
"Yeah, I guess this one will be okay."
"It will."
"Thanks Jilly."
"Now you get home and get some sleep, it's 1 am."
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow morning."
"Goodnight Miss Shago."
"Nite Jilly."
Sidney Denelle Shago left the studio and climbed into her silver BMW and headed toward her Malibu beach home. The top was down on her car; LA was much hotter that summer than usual. It was near 85 degrees even though it was 1 in the morning. She took a hair pin out of her hair and let her raven locks blow in the wind. Her neck was sore with tension as it usually was when she was stressed out. She thought about her show Friday night and the fact that it would be her most important one to date. Being a fashion designer had always been her dream but she never expected it to be so draining. Many of her friends and family encouraged her to be a model or actress instead because of the uniqueness that she presented wherever she went and not to mention her exotic beauty. Her mother was from Spain and her father is Greek, but her heritage doesn't stop there. Besides being Spanish and Greek, she also has French and Egyptian blood. Her raven hair with subtle brown highlights fell to the middle of her back. She has sparkling brown eyes and a perfect smile. She knew she couldn't be a model since she was only 5' 7 but she really didn't want to be one anyway. She was happy with her life and could not see herself parading down a runway. Even though she had a very athletic and trim body, she was still self-conscience like every woman on the planet. A smile crossed her face when she thought about all of the people she looked up to would be at her show. Donatella Versace and Vera Wang were just two of the many designers that were to be there. She assured herself that everything would indeed go well and according to plans. She could never have guessed what else fate had in store for her.
