“But I’m going to be coming home in a week.”
“I’m sorry Justin but I told you I’m going to Paris in a few days—what am I suppose to do, cancel on Maggie?”
“I don’t know but I haven’t seen you in 4 months and now you’re leaving—how do you expect me to feel?”
“You leave me to go on tour all the time, so why is it so wrong for me to leave?”
“So what is this, pay-back?”
“That’s not fair and I’m not that shallow!”
“Okay, I’m sorry, I just miss you, that’s all.”
“I miss you too and I’m only going to be there for 2 weeks then we can spend some time with eachother, k?”
“Ok, I love you baby.”
“I love you too, bye.”
“Bye.”
Laurie hung up her phone and laid back on her bed. Her relationship with Justin was really stressful but they’ve held on. Her last relationship crumbled and broke her heart. When Justin came around, she was instantly drawn to him and felt her heart start to heal. Although he could be a brat at times and it was a task making the relationship work, she couldn’t imagine her life without him in it. Laurie closed her eyes and smiled, knowing that it was all worth it in the end.

“So, had another fight with Laurie, huh?”
Justin looked up to see JC walk into his hotel room. He sat in a chair across from him, ready to hear whatever Justin wanted to say.
“Yeah, she’s going to be in Paris when we get back.”
“Oh, sorry man, but you’ll see her when she gets back.”
“I know but I feel like we’re growing apart, JC, and I feel like I'm losing her.”
“What’re you talking about? You and Laurie are meant for eachother and just because you fight every now and then doesn’t mean you don’t love eachother.”
“But we fight every time we talk and it’s about stupid stuff. I know it hurts her and it's taking it's toll on our relationship."
“Well, maybe you two need this time apart.”
“How can being apart help us become closer again?”
“Now you both will see how deep your love is and do whatever it takes to keep it strong, understand?”
“Yeah, I think so—I just hope she sees it too.”

“Laurie, you ready?” Laurie heard her friend Maggie yell up the stairs.
Laurie grabbed some last minute things including the picture of Justin on her desk. She ran downstairs to join Maggie in the living room.
“Okay, I’m ready now.”
“It’s about damn time.”
“Shut up Mag!”
