Tony Jones vs. Michael Modest: Both wrestlers from APW had try-outs with the WWF.Modest used the same innovative move that was used by "Gigolo" Vinny Massaro at this past weekend's APW Gym Wars to pin Jones. Basically, he hooked Jones' head with his arm (like a suplex), hooked Jones' right leg, lifted up, and slammed straight down. It is a must see. 2. Robert Thompson vs. Dan Severn: Thompson, another APW wrestler, got a try-out as well and put up a good fight with Severn. The ending came when Thompson tapped out to an armbar submission. 3. Miguel & Jose of Los Boricuas vs. Faarooq & 2 Cold Scorpio: Scorpio pinned Miguel with a 360 splash off of the top rope. 4. Frank Murdoch vs. Bradshaw: Murdoch, of APW, made Bradshaw look like a million dollars in this match. Bradshaw, very stiff, won with a lariat. 5. Christopher Daniels & Suicide Kid vs. Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor: Daniels & Kid, wrestling recently for APW, put on a good match with Christopher & Taylor. Ending came when Taylor held Kid while Christopher came off the top rope with a leg drop. 6. Bob Holly vs. Gangrel: Nice pop for Gangrel, who got the win with his DDT finisher. Shane McMahon is then introduced and Sunday Night Heat begins to tape. 7. Mankind (with the Rock & Ken Shamrock) vs. Dustin Runnels: Mankind wins via Mandible Claw. Val Venis then made his way out and said he could not show his latest video entitled "Something About Terri." 8. Michael Cole interviews Kane & Undertaker backstage. Shamrock, Mankind, & the Rock all attack Kane & Undertaker. Vince McMahon then talks to Mankind and tells him to get his gear and go. 9. Jackie (with Marc Mero) vs. Luna (with the Oddities & Sable): Jackie with a figure four and got the win. After the match, Jackie challenges Sable to a match on Raw. 10. Pat Patterson along with Jerry Brisco escort Shamrock and the Rock someplace backstage with police. 11. Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, & Billy Gunn (with Roaddog & Chyna) vs. Owen Hart, D-Lo Brown, & Jeff Jarrett (with Southern Justice): H.O.G. beats up X-Pac when the ref is distracted and D-Lo did a frog splash for the victory. 12. The Edge vs. Taka Michinoku: Edge wins with Downward Sprial. Kaientai attacks Edge, only for Gangrel to save him. 13. Sgt. Slaughter comes out for an interview and demands Al Snow to get in the ring. Snow is escorted by police, while handcuffed. Slaughter challenges Snow to a boot camp match for Raw, where if Snow wins he will be reinstated. After the interview is over, Slaughter beats up Snow from behind. 14. D.O.A. vs. Kane & Undertaker: Vince does commentary with his son Shane. Kane applies a tombstone piledriver for the win and concludes the Sunday Night Heat taping. Raw signs are now visible.
Mankind and Kane came out with Paul Bearer and Mankind was talking about how he gave it all he had against the Undertaker at Hell in the Cell and he wouldn't stop.And he went with his daughter to a theme park one day and she told him that he is the best man in the world.And he said that the Undertaker almost took that away from him.So he challenged the Undertaker for tonight.
