Signal - Loud & Clear

What could go wrong with a Mark Free-fronted band? Nothing of course, and this album proved just how talented Mr. Free is (well, Miss Free, these days). With a top notch performance by one of rock's unsung heroes and a backing band that is nothing short of spectacular, this album promises high quality and boy, does it deliver!

The songs range from arena rockers like "Arms of a Stranger," to heart-felt ballads like "This Love, This Time" to the bluesy feel of "Wake Up You Little Fool." One after the other, the songs flow one to the other with so much ease you'd think this band had been together for years. Unfortunately, this was the debut and departure of a phenomenal act.

Mark Free went on to record an album with Unruly Child, then released a solo album for Now & Then Records. He then proceeded to go under the knife, and underwent a sex change. Marcie Free now has her own website and through it will be releasing a new live Signal album.
