Brian went on the High School class ski trip and got sick. Sounds like it sucks, but he says he had a good time.
Brian is going to be discipling (teaching someone how to live biblically) Ken Jax a.k.a. P-Dog. It should be an exciting time for him, but we need to pray that he'll be patient.
I (Zach) spent the day with some pastors from Bogota, Colombia. They asked me to go and preach down there this summer. I am excited, but God is really going to have to work a miracle to get me down there.
We finally have made some major leeway in our practices. We practiced a song by Sambo. We have everything down, except the lyrics. Next week we should have a new tune to add to our very shabby reportoir.

Good news...I have kicked everyone but Zach out of the band. Now this isn't as bad as it sounds. This way the guys in the band that are to immature to tell me they want to quit don't have to worry about it, they can just not show up when i practice on Sunday.
The smaller amount of people will be easier for me to manage and will help build a better foundation. I am real excited about it.
Sunday's practice went well. Adam Lovingood was able to play his bass with us so we got some lines down on a couple songs.

Zach is back! He is going to play with us 'till God wishes him somewhere else.
We had our first Sunday practice on the 3rd and most of the guys were there. We started work on our version of "Awesome God".
We had our second practice in a row on the 10th. However, only Zach was there. Fortunately, we worked on guitar chords for "Awesome God" and wrote this cool part that we'll probably put in "Awesome God".

Jamie bought his bass today. Finally!

Josh and I practiced today. It was great, and we accomplished a lot. We worked on the basis of an instrumental called "Testimony".
We are going to finally practice next Saturday in the College room. This means we are going to be able to use their equimpent.
Jamie has almost got the money for a bass.

We had our meeting last week, but a couple of guys couldn't be there. It was good and praise God that we had it.
I am constantly being exposed to other bands, advice, and help with leadership. It is helping a lot and is completely needed.
Thank God that he died for us. Never forget that.
October 3, 1998
We were supposed to practice in the new room today, but due to a lack of commitment from a couple of the members we were unable to practice.
God is definately teaching me a great deal about leadership through this band. It is amazing how hard it is for some people to pick up the phone and let you know they can't make it. No hard feelings though no one is perfect hopefully it will pick up next week.
September 21, 1998
We finally had our second practice Saturday. A couple of the guys couldn't be there, but it was good just to play again.
Jamie is going to play bass since we have two others to play the sax.
It looks like we will get to use the College class's room and sound equipment for practice starting October 3.
Zach has decided to quit the band because of time. It really sucks for him and for us because he started this band up with me. But it is better to obey God and sacrifice a little then disobey and die hehe.
Paul Godbout has found another punk band and they covered some songs by various bands in a show with BUCK. Unfortunately i couldn't make it to the show, it was too far of a drive.

God has clearly shown both me and Paul that he shouldn't be in the band. It isn't a pesonal problem or nothing, we are still friends, but when God doesn't want you to do something you don't do it, even if you think it is right.
We have a new tenor sax player, D.J.
August 1, 1998
We had our first practice on Saturday, something we have been looking foward to for a long time.
We have a excelent new guitar player in Enriche Chi.
We have been hooked up in a miraculous way with a bass player, Paul Godbout. We are Biblically waiting however to make sure that he is sent from God. He is a wonderfull bass player and person though and we will be friends no matter what.

Thank God for giving Zach and I five more people who have asked to join the band.
Well the first and most obvious prayer that has been answered is the creation of this band.
