Lisa's September 17, 1999 Charlotte, NC BSB Into the Millennium Concert Review
*~Hi my name is Lisa. I went to the
Charlotte, North Carolina concert at the Charlotte Coliseum on September 17, 1999*~
I have to say that this was a lot of fun! Okay where do I start? Okay well my little sister(13) and me(17) tried to get tickets through online and also over the phone but we never got through. My little sister cried and I was pretty upset too because we live in another state so it was really difficult to get tickets. Anyway like a couple weeks later my best friend
Kristina(16) said that her family got an extra ticket did I want it and so I said sure but I would only go if my sister got a ticket too. We tried to bribe the radio DJ's for a ticket and we called in a billion times to win tickets but we never did. Thursday night before the concert my mom heard on the radio that they had 100 BSB tickets to give away b/c Hurricane Floyd had
taken away there airplay time so they couldn't give away tickets. Well my little sister got on one phone line and I got on the other and we tried for almost and hour trying to get tickets. Then at the high 8@8...my little sister got through and won 2 tickets so she took my brother(14). I was so excited she got through that I hurt my baby toe on the chair just in case
anyone cares. Anyway on to the concert my little sister had row J seats, my bestfriend Kristina and me were the second to the last row on the lower level. The concert was amazing! They all looked really great and Kevin split his pants which made everything a lot more memorable. I thought there singing was great and I loved how they sang like all the songs from both CD's
and then some. Nick did a lot more talking at this concert and it was so cute when he lost his shoe and then moments later he fell when he was dancing. I don't know which concert I liked better because I was there last year too. I really liked how energized the crowd was..we stood up the concert and sang the whole time too. My best friends parents came this time too. I have to say that this time the crowd was a huge mixture..I saw guys and girls of all ages and a lot of adults. My parents even wanted to come this time but they couldn't so maybe next time. Even my dad likes Larger Than Life...it's weird that so many BSB fans came out of the works with the new CD. I can't wait for the next time because this is definitely something I would never want to miss! They will forever be my favorite band and by
any chance the guys read this...keep up the great work! To all the fans out there keep buying those CD's and also keep the pride alive...thanks.
