Nicole's September 30, 1999 Philadelphia BSB Concert Review!

~*Well, my concert was Thursday, September 30th at the First Union Center in Philadelphia, PA. Me, my best friend Amy, and her sister Lisa all went. Their aunt took us down*~

We got out of school at around 11 and we all went over to my house. We got all my stuff and then my mom took us to Amy and Lisa's house where we waited for about two hours for her aunt to come and pick us up. I wore my Backstreet Boys baseball backwards all night. ANYWAY, Philly is an hour and a half drive from where I live so we got in the van and we were off. Our Backstreet Boys journey had begun..hehe. All the way down we played Backstreet Boys and we were checking out the hotties in the cars next to us. We left at 3:30 and we got there at about 5:30. It took about two hours because we stopped on the way. When we got there we got a killer parking spot and we had to go in search of a bathroom because I had to go soooo bad. LoL I'm sure you wanted to know that. After we found one they started letting people in. Our seats were soooooo good. We were in section 104 row 10. After about 15-20 minutes Mandy Moore came out on the stage and she did good. Her dancers were really HOT. Then EYC came out and they were soooo FFIIINNNNEE!! By the end they had their shirts completely off. They have GREAT bodies. Then the lights came back up and about 30 minutes later the sound of Star Wars music came blasting through the speakers. The lights went down adn everyone jumped to their feet screaming in excitement because we were finally going to see the boys. Then from a black box smoke and an orange glow came up and the boys were lifted into the air on huverboards and flown to the stage. Everyone was screaming so loud and the lights of cameras flashing were everywhere. I took lots of pics. Then they walked around the stage and the screaming only got louder. The Boys broke out into "Larger Than Life" and everyone began singing along. AJ came out on stage and thanked everyone for coming and then he had all of us sing "Happy Birthday" to Kevin. It was so sweet. When they sang "Quit Playin Game (With My Heart)" Nick flow right over us and was lowered right in front of us. I took soooo many pics of that. My favorite song they performed was "It's gotta be you" The dance moves were great and Nick sounded so good. During it Brian and AJ were dancing around all funny in the middle of the stage. Then the dancers were introduced and they had a dance off. And then I really liked how they did the melody of "Everybody, We've Got It Goin' On, and That's The Way I Like It" I LOVED how they did "That's The Way I Like It". They sang about 19 songs and the last one was "I Want It That Way" Me and Amy were jumped up and down and screamed and waving like crazy and finally Brian saw us and waved and made a funny face at how crazy we were being. All in all it was a TERRIFIC night and I will never forget it as long as I live. Concert Reviews
