Banana, peanut butter and pickle!


“Ewwwww.....Nick what the hell is that on your sandwich?” Brian said looking at the gooey mess Nick was creating for his lunch.
“Hmmmm lets see, banana, peanut butter and pickle...” Nick took a bite and grinned.
“Want some Bri?” He offered.
“Uhhh....I don’t think so...” Brian laughed and pulled a coke out of the fridge.
“So Bri what happened with you and Becca last night man.? I never found out..” Nick jumped up on the bench and continued to eat his sandwich.
Brian looked around. All the other guys were in the entertainment room watching WWF wrestling.
“Come on Bri...we haven’t talked in ages...” Nick said kinda softly. Ever since Nick had moved into his own place and the boys were busier than ever, him and Brian didn’t seem as close as the were before.
“Umm....Well I went to her and asked her why she didn’t tell me about her birthday...”
“Uhuh...” Nick listened intently.
“And she was just going on about how she felt she couldn’t tell me because it would make things difficult and stuff...” Brian faded off.
“And what did she say??” Nick asked finishing the rest of his sandwich.
“I’m a virgin...” Brian said flatly.
Nick’s eyes grew wide. “Ohhhhh man...that explains it huh Bri?”
Brian nodded. “I would be lying if I didn’t say I didn’t like the idea of her never ‘being’ with anyone else...but it means I’ve gotta be so much more careful you know?” Brian looked up at Nick for a response.
“Yeah.....just take it slow.” Nick said quite maturely.
“Yeah I know....plus I still don’t know what to get her for her birthday!” Brian said looking up at Nick once more for advice.
“I can’t help you there man...I don’t even know what to do about Cassidy!” Nick said taking a sip of Brian’s coke.
“Well It’s obvious that you like her...and well Becca did kinda tell me that she likes you...” Brian grinned.
"Yeah I don't know...its weird..."
“Hmmm...”

“Hey guys what are you talking about?” Howie said going to the fridge and grabbing a coke.
“Girls...” Brian and Nick said at the same time.
They all laughed. “How’s Julie, you too seem pretty cosy..” Brian smiled.
“Do we?” Howie said shortly looking down at his coke.
“Uhh....things alright Howie?” Nick asked unsurely.
“Never been better..” Howie gave a forced smile and quickly exited the kitchen.
“Ohh..not good..” Brian said confused.
“Man, relationships!” Nick laughed and the guys went to join the others to watch the wrestling.

*That night*

“Hey baby...” Brian smiled as Becca picked up the phone.
“Hey gorgeous...what are you up to?” Becca smiled as she heard Brian’s voice.
“Missing you...”
“I miss you too! We spoke to Cassidy’s cousins today!”
“Oh cool! Are you going to see them?” Brian asked.
“Yeah tomorrow...they live by the beach so we should be able to keep ourselves occupied..”
“I’m so jealous!” Brian pouted.
“Why?..”
“Cause all the lifeguards will get to see you and I won’t...” Brian said.
“You’re silly.....actually...” Becca giggled.
“What? What’s so funny?” Brian asked.
“I’m just thinking how sexy you’d look in a pair of those baywatch red boardshorts..” Becca replied.
“Oh yeah baby! They’re hanging in my cupboard..” Brian joked.
“Actually don’t bother putting them on...you won’t need boardshorts if you’re swimming with me..” Becca said seductively into the phone.
“See there you go...teasing me like that! I’ve gotta live another week and a half without you and you start on the skinny dipping!” Brian laughed.
“You in Canada?” Becca asked still laughing.
“Not quite yet...probably tomorrow...anyway I have to go cause Kevin need to use the phone..” Brian said.
“Aww...already?” Becca said sadly.
“Yeah I’m sorry baby..”
“It’s ok...I’ll talk to you later.?” Becca asked.
“Definatly..love you!” Brian smiled.
“You too...bye!” Becca finished and hung up the phone.
